MEDIAGIRLS is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Intern for the fall 2021 semester. Working directly with the Executive Director and the Programming & Marketing Manager, the Business Development & Marketing Intern will assist both with our marketing strategies and recruitment for program partners. 

Your goals are to: 

  1. Initiate new and continue engaging with existing school, community, and nonprofit partners
  2. Build out our Girl+ Youth Advisory Board Community 
  3. Assist with the brainstorming and implementation of marketing strategies
  4. Improve branding efforts
  5. Research best practices related to our current and upcoming projects

We are looking for interns who are not only interested in gaining more marketing and development experience, but have a demonstrable passion for issues of gender, race, representation, and media! 

Time commitment: Maximum of 10 hours per week; September-December; minimum 3 month committment 

Location: Remote

Status: Part-Time, Temporary Position

Compensation: This is a unpaid position. There is opportunity for school credit if allowed by the college/university of applicant. Position offers an excellent opportunity to work on substantive projects and can result in a great reference.
