Angela Scott, Executive Director (she, her, hers)
Angela is a strategic, big-picture thinker who is the right person to help MEDIAGIRLS scale to the next level. She has been involved with the organization for six years, starting as a volunteer in 2016 and then hired on as a staff member in 2017. In her role as Program Coordinator, she managed all of the after-school programs in Boston. Throughout the past four years she has taken on numerous roles within the organization, most recently as a part-time Operations Consultant. Angela has been instrumental in helping MEDIAGIRLS with strategic planning and implementation, and back-end operational systems to help us grow. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Bentley University and a Masters in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University. She is an accomplished marathon runner, with four marathons under her belt. She resides in the North End neighborhood of Boston with her fiancé, Sameer and daughter, Meena.
Victoria Harding, Program & Marketing Manager (she, her, hers)
Victoria is an enthusiastic team player who embraces optimism, lifelong learning, and helping others. She was first involved with MEDIAGIRLS as a Social Media Intern in college and she is thrilled to be joining the organization full-time. Victoria received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Media Studies from Emmanuel College and recently completed a year of service with AmeriCorps VISTA as a Marketing & Communications Specialist. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Boston and running her small business, Deck to Diary.
Lisa Roe, Development Consultant (she, her, hers)
Lisa is excited to join the MEDIAGIRLS team as a professional with over 13 years of experience in education and community engagement with an emphasis on building meaningful partnerships and relationships. She holds a BA in Sociology, MEd in Higher Education Administration, and an EdD in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University. She currently lives in Roslindale with her husband Eric and dog Sully.
Katherine Lynch, Editorial Intern, is a student at Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass. She studies Communications and Media with a minor in Marketing. She loves to read, write, and learn about the world, passions she is eager to share with the MEDIAGIRLS community.
Aryana Martin, Editorial Intern, is a student at Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass. She studies English with a double minor in Sociology and African and African Diaspora Studies. She’s passionate about reading, writing, learning, and creating new relationships and experiences. She is thrilled to contribute to the MEDIAGIRLS mission.
Janna May, Video Content Intern, is a student at Emmanuel College in Boston, Mass. She studies Communications and Media Studies with a minor in Photography. She loves to be outside, play and watch sports, travel, and take photos and videos along the way. She is very excited to share this love of video and photography work with the MEDIAGIRLS community to communicate their mission.
