About us: MEDIAGIRLS is a non-profit organization that teaches girls and young women to know their self-worth and harness the power of media to uplift one another. By recognizing and questioning sexist messages in mainstream media, program participants learn to think critically, develop self-confidence and use social media for good. Programming takes place at schools throughout the Boston area and includes curriculum and workshops for middle schoolers.
